World spinning – seemingly with no end
Doubtful it will ever stop – no one can tell
Some days so heavenly – truly a God send
Others so hectic – as though straight from hell
Siren calls, beckoning from afar – not the song of the nightingale
A wanderlust so strange to you – that which keeps sailors away
Waves licking your toes – looking out to watch boats a sail
Although they flee too quickly – a promise to yourself of “someday”
How to still a racing heart – ready to erupt from your chest
Without a moment to sigh – no time to catch a breath
To spin as fast as the world – soar only with the best
Each day so joyful and carefree – each day cheating Death
But you should know, my friend, that which calls does not love you
It is jealous of True Love in your heart and moonlight in your eyes
As fast as it moves, as loud as it calls – it waits like morning dew
But your smile, like sunshine which blooms life, causes It to die
Time will tell from then to there
What might have been too hard for you to see from within
How a truly beautiful woman gave all her heart to share
Loves, hugs, worries and smiles – and how all was so freely given
