I grew up in a large family–many siblings.  I spent 23 years in the U.S. Navy as an administrator and trainer.  I Spent a few years in the corporate world and now have a nice simple management job in the storage industry.  What more could an old guy want?

So, I started 1st Class Document Services — mainly as a photo and document scanning business.  I scan photos and documents, put them on discs or dvd’s.  Think about it:  you’ve got that box of photos or letters from Auntie M sitting in the closet, attic, basement or drawer.  You don’t think about them until family reunion time.  And then, there’s a fire, a tornado, a flood or hurricane — what’s the first thing most everyone goes for besides the children and grandma?  Yep, the family photos.

Recently, however, a couple of people in the family brought their books to my attention and I thought, hmmmm… I’ll bet I could learn how to self-publish and put these on Amazon Kindle.  Two books later and I’m trying my hand at print on demand.  Those should be available as soon as I figure out the covers for Create Space publishing.

I plan on continuing this endeavor for regular, everyday folks like me–I wasn’t trained in literary arts and most everyone I know wasn’t either, but I still feel each of us has something to say.  It may be in the form of a book, a story or a blog but as long as someone will be willing to listen…

From time to time, I may have a bit more to say or comments on different things in the universe — hopefully, they’ll be worth your (re)viewing.  Your non-hatin’, clean-language, tolerant of “all” points of view will be welcome.
