Death Under Past Secrets The Rapid Eternity (Volume 2)

by Caleb Reese                  YA

In the highly anticipated sequel to The Rapid Eternity: Brief Seconds In A Short Future, Jack Witter must deal with the recurring nightmares and trauma of watching both his best friend and father die by the hands of the city’s Demagogue, Lucifer Enmy. Each day Enmy gets closer to taking total control over the city and killing someone that Jack loves. He has sworn to take away everything he loves and will stop at nothing to do so. Jack and the missing kids must band together to find the others before Enmy does and stop the attack before it is too late. Together, Jack, Naomi, and the others will stop at nothing until they are ready for the revolution against the Seek, where they can finally put an end to Enmy’s reign of terror. In a race of time, Jack must stop Enmy before the date of the attack, and before his watch counts down to his impending death. Will he be able to stop Enmy, or will time run out before he gets the chance? The time for lies is over, the time for truth has just begun.

The Forgotten Edge

by Jamie Dodge

Two men set out on a simple planetary survey when tragedy strikes. Trapped on a world that is both alien and somehow eerily familiar, survival is the only thing that matters.

Andrews and Levy are two young officers of the Corps. Levy is the senior officer who isn’t quite sure of what exactly should be done, but is intent on making sure that they survive this strange planet. Andrews is the young hot shot pilot who is willing to do anything, including starve himself, to get things done.

Strange plants. Even stranger animals. Unsure if even the water is safe to drink, they set out on a mission to survive. Through triumph and tragedy they fight to keep each other going, no matter the cost. Just when they hit their lowest point, a surprise is waiting.

Will they survive, or will they fall over the edge?
